Some people believe that planning about future is a waste of time and say that we should simply live in present. How far do you agree/disagree?
INTRODUCTION:
Planning is the most crucial aspect of human life. People spend a lot of time making plans for their future.
On the other hand, some people argue that because future cannot be guaranteed so one should rather enjoy the present.
I believe that there are some benefits and limitations attached to both these approaches. I will discuss both sides of argument to carve a balanced decision.

Example
Obviously, to get successful in life, we need proper planning and consistent efforts. Only a person who has clear life-goals and plans will achieve his objectives.
Planning for future keeps a person motivated and ambitious. Students who plan for an aim and then prepare for it are more likely to succeed than those with no plan.
Every year millions of students plan their preparations and sit for competitive exams. Likewise, a traveler plans his journey, a mountaineer plans his expedition and a businessman plans his business strategy in advance.
A timely planning increases the chances of success. It seems unpractical to start something first and plan for it later.
BODY PARAGRAPH- 2:
However, too much planning can be stressful and yields no result.
Also, the end result of anything depends upon our efforts and not entirely on planning.
That is why some people despise planning. Some people believe in fate and say that if they are destined to lose something, they will definitely lose and no planning can save them.
Also, sometimes people waste their precious time in planning and never proceed to real task.
CONCLUSION:
After assessing both points of view, it is crystal clear that there are certain limitations to over-planning but its benefits always outweigh its drawbacks.
A person should be clear about the path he is going to follow to pursue his life-goals.
Thus, planning has no alternative. People just need to keep a balance between his plans and actions and should not engage in over-planning
