It is undeniably true that most people seek a high salary in the first place while their job hunt process. Although, I accede that a good financial return is necessary, however, certain other factors are equally important for an employee.
There are particular reasons why money is one of the key considerations. Firstly, a family requires a regular income in order to fulfil basic needs such as house rents, healthcare expenses, educational fee, food and utility bills. It is hard to imagine even an average quality life without all these fundamental requirements. Secondly, it is often seen that some people struggle to make both ends meet throughout their life when they give priority to enjoyment like any sports interest or passion for acting. These vocations offer a certain degree of gratification but do not always ensure a good lifestyle which mainly depends on the size of earning.
Nevertheless, I believe that other factors especially job satisfaction and genial work environment bring a sense of fulfilment and much needed feel of happiness. Even a high salaried job cannot compensate the missing bliss in life if you hate what you do at your workplace. Loving your work is the utmost priority for growing up in any domain. Moreover, a cruel boss and a shrewd colleague could also make your life more miserable because you have to spend 8 to 10 hours every day with them. Therefore, it is really important for a worker to analyze the work profile and working conditions besides pay package to avert any possible negative outcome.
In conclusion, a person’s choice of profession or workplace is certainly influenced by monetary aspects, yet I give same weightage to other key factors for a rewarding job experience.
